I’m Joe Clifford, a documentary producer and filmmaker from Wrexham who loves telling real
stories with heart and honesty.
I’ve spent the last few years working across high-end observational docs and premium factual, most recently
on the multi-Emmy-winning Welcome to Wrexham team for five seasons.
I’m trusted to build relationships quickly, handle sensitive access with care, deliver the truth with
confidence, and help shape the story on the ground.
I’m calm under pressure, I get the best out of contributors, and I bring solid editorial instincts without ego.
I like to keep shoots positive and collaborative, whether I’m working with A-list talent, a crew,
or just one person in their kitchen telling me their story.
Outside of Welcome to Wrexham, I’ve worked with the BBC and Channel 4 factual
(Antiques Roadshow, The Great House Giveaway), as well as a range of branded documentary content. I’m also a confident self-shooter / camera operator.
